Save the date! See products, services and informational exhibits at the Biggest Sportsman’s Expo on the Central Oregon Coast March 28th through the 30th at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds! Expo Hours: Friday 3-8pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday 9am-4pm.

KSHL and Toby Murry Toyota have created the first ever Central Oregon Sportsman Expo to showcase outdoor activities we all enjoy along the beautiful Oregon Coast. Toby Murry Motors, your Northwest Toyota Dealer in South Beach, is the presenting sponsor this first -time event at the Main Exhibit Hall and Lawn Area of the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. Scheduled for three big days, the second weekend of Oregon Spring Break, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 28th, 29 and 30th, local folks and tourists alike will have fun learning about goods and services available locally to enhance the outdoor experiences available on the Central Oregon Coast.

Hunters will be able to share bragging rights in the inaugural Head and Horns Competition event. Boone and Crockett scoring will be the standard as hunters bring in their prized trophy for scoring. Categories to be judged are Rocky Mountain Elk, Roosevelt Elk, Black-tail Deer and Mule Deer in both archery and rifle. Head and Horns scoring entry forms are now available at Toby Murry Motors in South Beach or at the Expo during show hours. On-site scoring will occur during posted hours each day of the show.

taken in America. Hunting, crabbing and fishing technique demonstrations, camping and survival equipment, arms appraisal information, game prep and preserving information demonstrations are schedule all three days.

A wide variety of vendors will be on-hand, including a large archery store on wheels, indoor and outdoor rustic furniture locally made by Eager Beaver Discount Store, Equestrian tack and supplies for trail riding and outdoor clothing and pet needs will be displayed by Feed Corral of Newport. All outdoor sporting activities will be represented – rock hounds of all ages will get to meet Rooster from Rooster’s Rocks in South Beach as he shares his knowledge of the best rock-hunting areas and the beautiful agate and mineral finds he has to offer. Gift and coupon bags will be provided by Tanger Outlet Stores.

Education is a primary feature for the several booths at the Central Oregon Coast Sportsman’s Expo. The Oregon State Police will bring the “Wall of Shame”, a collection of animal trophies that were taken illegally. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will staff a booth filled with information about the Oregon Hunting laws. The Lincoln County Posse will be on-hand to share information about what services the posse performs through-out Lincoln County.

This is truly a family-friendly event in every way, tickets are only $5 each for adults, kids 17 and under are free with their parents. Due to the generous support of Toby Murry Toyota, 100 percent of the pre-sale
ticket revenue is going to stay with the non-profit, local organizations that will be selling tickets at various venues. The local Oregon Hunters Association will be selling tickets around the county. There are several types of opportunities available for businesses that would like to be a part of the Central Oregon Sportsman’s Expo including booth space, expert education demonstrating and coupon sharing.
