Mary Magdalene (Kraemer) Martin, 93, was born on July 21,1920, in Portland to her parents Anton and Clara Kraemer. Mary was the oldest of six children. She married John V. Martin on May 19,1946 in Portland where they raised their four children. Mary and John built and owned Martin’s Trailer Harbor in Depoe Bay, OR. until John died in 1986. Mary continued to manage the park until she moved back to Portland in 2012. All together Mary spent 44 plus years greeting customers and making life long friends with all who visited the park. When you visited you did not forget her friendly smile and the huge potluck barbecues they had. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newport until she moved back to Portland.

She will be remembered by her children, Donald Martin, Barbara Dietz, Edward Martin and Roger Martin, 6 Grandchildren Eric, Gena, Shannon, Chris, Michelle, Andrea; and 9 Great-Grandchildren Codey, Leah (deceased), Forrest, Kyrie, Devante, Tyler, Tyler, Bella and Vander. She is survived by her sister Jo Cooper and her brothers Bill Kraemer and Tom Kraemer.

Memorial service will be 11:00AM Monday January 27, 2014 at Ascension Catholic Church on 743 SE 76th Ave Portland OR. light refreshment to follow.

Interment at 1:15PM, meet at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd, Portland, OR. to be lead to Willamette National Cemetery. All are invited to a celebration of life and light lunch after the internment at Ed Martin’s home.
