Lincoln County Board of Realtors President Larry Garrison, with Mike Roy, State Director of the Realtor organization, are shown presenting a check in the amount of $5,000 to Habitat for Humanity Lincoln County. The Board of REALTORS secured the grant through the Oregon Association of Realtors Home Foundation. According to Bovett the money will be used on their newest Habitat build in Siletz, scheduled to begin this year.
This is the third year that the Board of REALTORS has awarded a Home Foundation grant to Habitat. Garrison stated that the Home Foundation is committed to assisting Oregonians realize the dream of home ownership. Grant applications are accepted by the Home Foundation every year from 501 (c) (3) organizations dedicated to making home ownership a reality.
