Oregon’s Senator Jeff Merkley will hold public town hall meetings in Lincoln and Tillamook Counties on Sunday, the 19th
He will update constituents on his work in Washington, DC and answer their questions and invite their suggestions about how to tackle the challenges facing Oregon and America.
“Advocating for Oregonians is my number one responsibility and holding a town hall in every county is a great way to hear directly from Oregonians,” said Merkley. “I invite all residents of Lincoln and Tillamook Counties to come and discuss what we need to do to strengthen our state and nation.”
In 2008, Merkley pledged to hold town halls in each of Oregon’s 36 counties every year. He upheld his pledge in the previous five years. Lincoln and Tillamook Counties will be his 195th and 196th town halls as a U.S. Senator.
