A loyal reader in Depoe Bay reported a casualty on his street in Depoe Bay this afternoon. Seems as though a porta-potty, used by construction workers building a house, caught a bit too much wind and keeled over. It’s not hard to feel sorry for the workers who will have a rather unpleasant chore of re-righting their “relief station” before they can resume their project.
Meanwhile, the weather this evening will turn back to substantially windy with a bit more rain…up to a quarter inch by morning. Winds to 35mph. Low tonight 45, but with the wind chill it’ll feel like 35. Tomorrow, cloudy with rain off and on. High just a tad under 50. Southwest winds to 20 mph. Then Sunday night, only scattered showers with a low around 45. Chance of rain 40% Sunday with no more than a tenth of an inch of wet stuff before Monday rise-and-shine time.
Then back to our extended Indian Summer next week with sunny to partly cloudy skies through Friday with high’s in the mid-50’s and lows in the mid-40’s.
