Depoe Bay: Police arrive at scene of a serious assault on a couple on North 101

A man who allegedly went berserk on a couple staying at a residence in the 600 block of Highway 101 has fled the scene. Police and paramedics have now arrived and are assessing the situation. Police are looking for the alleged assailant. Paramedics are rendering aid to the couple.
No word on what sparked the attack. Alcohol was mentioned as being heavily involved.
Suspect wearing a black hat with a red bill, worn backwards, dark clothing. 5-5 in height. No estimate on weight.
