Obamacare making headway on sign-ups, despite initially botched computer system – system now working better
Sign ups for Obamacare are now two-thirds of the original goal of 3.3 million by December 31st despite the ill-fated launch of the online sign up procedure. December was a big month for signups using the the old fashioned method – pen and paper. Although critics continue to equate the computer botch with Obamacare itself people are still signing up in droves across the country. Here in Oregon, Cover Oregon’s computer system is still down; agents helping people the old fashioned way, here too.
