These photographs make you wonder whether any of these family members are even still with us. This is a classic example of thinking that big waves are no more dangerous than the ones you see on TV. Afterall, no waves on TV ever get you wet. They also don’t drown you – LIKE THESE WILL!!
Two Eugene teens were wave-hammered and drowned at a spot barely a half mile north of here three years ago when a wave swept them both off the rocks to their deaths.
Being killed by sneaker waves is one thing – staring them square in the face, before they kill you, is quite another.
