Warming Shelter Thursday night, 6pm, 1760 NW 25th
The Lincoln City Congregational Church will be open as a homeless warming shelter this evening starting at 6pm. The church is at 1760 NW 25th in Lincoln City.
A call has gone out for volunteers who can help staff the shelter in one of two shifts – 6pm to midnight, or midnight to 7am.
The shelter will offer a breakfast in the morning.
Those sponsoring the warming shelter would also ask the community to come forward and donate blankets, hats and shoes. Those who would like to donate can call Dave Galati at 503-949-7074.
