It’s all happening Saturday, December 14th, starting at 5pm with the ringing of the Christmas Bells. The large Christmas Tree lighting at the foot of Main Street is at 6pm.
Main Street Toledo is celebrating a Dickens Christmas with crafts with kids at the Quilters Cottage, Vintage Train Display at the Yaquina Hotel, a reception and costumes at SolaLuna Gallery, a traditional Christmas dinner at Gracie Mae’s and win a $100 gift card for best costume at Main St. Mercantile. Then feast on Bangers and Mash at Holy Toledo Tavern, make kids hand print keepsakes and enjoy the Potter’s reception at Toledo Clayworks. Then meet Scrooge and Tiny Tim and meet Father Christmas. There will be carolers, live music, and so much more right on through 10pm.

And don’t forget, just ahead of A Hometown Dickens Christmas, The Traveling Lantern Theater Company will present a children’s performance of the classic Dickens tale of “A Christmas Carol” at the Toledo Public Library. Showtime is 4pm and runs through 6pm in time for the Christmas Tree Lighting at the foot of Main Street.
