Oregon Congresswoman gaining traction on bill to award more federal money toward Japanese Tsunami debris cleanup
An Oregon congresswoman has managed to get two bills out of committee that would allow quicker access to federal money to clean up Japanese Tsunami debris along the west coast. More than a year after debris started coming ashore in Oregon and other states, access to federal funds is still, by some estimations, clumsy and badly timed.
