Parents can drop off their children for free at Seashore Family Literacy Center 8am-3:30pm
Breakfast and lunch FREE!
The Seashore Family Literacy Center in Waldport is jumping into the thick of things to give parents a free option for child care while Crestview School is being worked on next week
Lincoln County School District officials unexpectedly announced this week that due to the extent of mold that has spread within the walls of Crestview School, it will take another full week of work to remove it and reseal the walls. Therefore Crestview School will not re-open until April 15th.
That put a lot of working parents into “stress” mode as they tried to secure places to watch their young children during the day.
But it’s Seashore Family Literacy Center to the rescue! The center has just announced that they will be taking all the children they can handle from 8am to 3:30pm, with breakfast and lunch thrown in! ALL FREE!
For more information, call Senitila at 541-7323 or stop by their facility at 125 NW Spruce, on Alsea Highway (34) just across the street to the north from City Hall and the Fire Station.
