Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing their investigation into Saturday evening’s three vehicle fatal traffic crash that took the life an adult male on Highway 22W south of Highway 18.
Preliminary information indicates that at approximately 7:00 p.m. two vehicles crashed head-on on Highway 22W near Red Prairie Road. Shortly after the first collision, a third vehicle collided with one of the crashed vehicles. Driving conditions at the time were very foggy.
An adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two females and one male were injured and were transported to area hospitals. All names of the victims will be released Sunday.
OSP troopers from the McMinnville and Salem offices are investigating. The highway is blocked in both directions. Traffic updates are posted on ODOT’s website TripCheck.com.Share on Facebook
