Emergency responders are enroute to a report of a house fire at 1161 SW Seabrook Lane just south of Waldport. Garage is on fire, possibly a danger to a house in which a disabled person is being evacuated.

Arriving units say they’ve got it handled. No additional firefighting personnel needed.
3:18pm
Fire contained to a small area of a workshop.
5:30pm
Firefighters say a boy grabbed a garden hose and kept the fire from spreading from the garage to the house, prior to the arrival of fire crews.
