A mid-summer burglary in Depoe Bay, during which a home on Lincoln Avenue was damaged and personal property taken, has finally been solved, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Evidence in the case led investigators to identify Andrew Curtis Howard, 29 years of age, from Lincoln City, as a suspect.
Howard was summoned to the Lincoln City Police Department where Sheriff’s Deputy David Boys told Howard he was under arrest for Burglary, Theft and Criminal Mischief. Howard was transported to the Lincoln County Jail in Newport where his bail was set at $250.000 where he awaits his first court appearance.
