In all seriousness, the Day of the Dead is celebrated by Latino and other cultures as a day of remembrance, honoring all those who have passed on, remembering what they bestowed upon us and wished for us in our own lives. It is both a celebration of life as well as a solemn acknowledgement of lessons learned, and then passing them on.
