Actually it was Zombie Hitler, a costume holding both a frightening and politically satirical aspect. Most lib news wont show this kind of stuff. I know personally, as I also portray both Union and Confederate soldiers with the NCWC, and the local news never shows the Confederate battalion during parades, only the Union. So kudos to News Lincoln County for having a much hutzpah to show the costume as I did to wear it! The only person to dislike my costume out of the hundreds who saw it that night, was the old crohn who cussed at me from her stool because she was to drunk to get up and say it!
Fighting Hitler was an existential crisis for globe. The scars went deep. Still are. Lots of old fighters left around, or sons and daughters of damaged parents who endured it. However, It’s been nearly three quarters of a century ago. Time to move on.
