Newport Police Chief Mark Miranda wants to remind everyone that tonight, from 4 to 8pm, there will be a special fundraiser for Lincoln County Special Olympics so the team can compete for the gold.
Izzy’s restaurant, at Lighthouse and 101, north of Newport, offers a classic buffet-style grill, pizza, salad & dessert bar which gets kicked up a notch with one of the most stunning ocean views around. Reasonably priced & family friendly. For many it is their favorite salad bar in town.
Newport Police officers will be waiting tables from 4-8pm. Feel free to tip them generously to help local Special Olympians travel to the state competition this year. Izzy’s, 4-8pm this evening!
