Public Works crews have been responding to severe weather conditions and power failures throughout the day today.
For a short time today, power was out to the wastewater treatment facility and some satellite pumping stations. All stations without power are running on standby generators. Crews continue to monitor stations throughout this event to ensure successful operation. Rainfall totals for today are 4.2-inches.
Operators have responded to several downed trees throughout town, along with plow removal of debris from area roadways. Tide conditions may create localized street flooding prompting some road closures.
Public Works operators are available after hours to respond to emergencies as needed.
