School District Seeks Contractors for Bond Project Contact List
Provided by Lincoln County Schools
With the recent passage of a $63 million bond measure, Lincoln County School District is moving forward with multiple school improvement projects, big and small. One step in this process is to develop a contact list of contractors and construction-related firms based in Lincoln County that are interested in receiving information about upcoming projects.
To be included on the bond project contact list, submit your information by going online to the school district’s website, www.lincoln.k12.or.us. In the left hand column, go to “Bond Projects” then click on the “Submit Contractor Info Here” button. There will be a form to fill out with the name of your company, name of contact person, mailing address, phone number, email address, and services provided.
Rich Belloni, Support Services director for Lincoln County School District, will be overseeing the bond projects. He commented that architects for the bond projects have already been selected through a process that included citizen input from throughout the county. The firms are DHGoebel Architect of Newport and gLAs Architects of Eugene.
Currently, the district is soliciting requests for proposals for construction manager/general contractor services for two classroom construction projects, one at Toledo Elementary School and one at Oceanlake Elementary School in Lincoln City. The deadline to submit an RFP for the Toledo project is June 10. The deadline to submit an RFP for the Oceanlake project is June 24. Complete information can be viewed online at the school district’s “Bond Projects” page, then to “Request For Proposal information.”
