Just ahead of this morning’s NOAA groundbreaking celebration at Newport’s South Beach, NOAA announced from Seattle that its latest and final re-examination of its new headquarters selection process has again confirmed that Newport Oregon is the site appropriately selected. Senator Ron Wyden is expected to make it official this morning in a ceremonial groundbreaking tent which is surrounded by construction activity going on since last Fall.
