Experience the sights and sounds of Asia at the 34th Annual Oregon Asian Celebration on Saturday, February 16th by getting on the bus at the Newport Senior 60+ Center

Enjoy Asian culture through main stage performances of dance and music such as: Lion Dances, Dragon Puppet show, Japanese Taiko Drumming, Japanese Koto Music, Chinese Lion Dance, Cultural Fusion Dance, Martial Arts to music, Hawaiian Hula, and Taiwanese dance and music.

Visit the bustling marketplace to see art exhibits, goods from Tibet, Bonsai Trees, bamboo originals, face painting, Japanese jewelry, hand-blown glass, Origami ornaments, Reflexology, and Labrana Tea Traders to name only a few of the 75 vendors.

Participate in activities such as the “Canoodle-Noodle Eating Contest” and a photo session with backdrops of Asia, and the Japanese Carnival. Hungry? Enjoy the Asian cuisine at the Food Court.

The cost for this trip is $27.00. The Newport Adventure Van will be leaving at 8:00 am and plan on getting back at 5:00 pm. Seats are reserved when payment is made.
