Marine: A Gale Warning is in effect from this evening through late tonight for SW winds rising to 30-35 knots gusting 50 knots and rough combined seas 16 feet at 11 seconds.

A High Wind Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for the Central Coast, which is in effect from 6:00pm this evening to 2:00am tomorrow. Southwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts 55 to 65 mph. Brief surge of wind, likely lasting less than three hours. Most likely timing of this surge is between 9:00pm and midnight tonight. Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected. Travel may be difficult for high profile vehicles.

Weekend Travel: Wet roads at the lower elevations of Northwest Oregon with a Wind Advisory in effect from 6:00pm tonight to 2:00am Sunday. In the Cascades, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 7:00pm tonight through Sunday night, 1-2 feet of snow expected in the highway passes, windy with blowing snow at times.
