Dec. 7, 1941
Pearl Harbor, Hawaii

Survivors of the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor will be honored at a ceremony on December 7 at 11:00 am at the Don and Ann Davis Park at the west end of Olive Street in Newport.

Survivors’ families, all Veterans, and the general public are invited to attend.
On December 7, 1941 — the date that President Roosevelt declared would “live in infamy” — over 2400 people died when the US Navy fleet suffered a devastating air attack, leading to the United States’ entry into WWII.

The Pearl Harbor Memorial ceremony will include presentation of the colors, photos, prayer, and brief statements.
