The Fabulous 50’s is coming to town with the annual high tea benefit for Samaritan House on Saturday February 3. It will be held at the Presbyterian Church in Newport, 227 NE 12th Street. Tickets are on sale at TLC/Fibre Credit Union, Newport, for $30.00.
The tea features traditional foods like scones and cucumber sandwiches along with four special desserts. In addition, guests will be able to bid on silent auction items and buy chances to win a hand-made quilt by Teecia Cornelius. This benefit is for Samaritan House shelter for homeless families and is being sponsored by TLC/Fibre Credit Union and Susan Painter.
