Although the Yaquina Head lighthouse and the visitors center will be closed today, December 25th, the trails, viewing areas and beaches are open and free. No entry fee.
Trails and viewing areas are astoundingly beautiful and interesting for spotting birds, marine mammals and other wildlife. Might even see a whale or too from the viewing deck at the bottom of the lighthouse.
So, check it out. Again, no entry fee!
